Build workflow

git clone https://github.com/MITgcm/MITgcm.git
cd MITgcm/verification/global_oce_latlon/build
../../../tools/genmake2 -mods ../code
make depend
make

The run directory should document symbolic links, input files, executable provenance, and output diagnostics.

Future notes can separate numerical configuration, grid geometry, forcing files, diagnostics, and figure reproduction steps.
